Mehak Gupta is a writer, communication designer and entrepreneur from Mumbai, India. She writes creative non-fiction, poetry, memoir and short stories. Parallel to this, Mehak runs a design studio called Hereafter (www.hereafter.co.in), to support social enterprises and start-ups with their written/visual communications.

Mehak has been a part of ≠igfem and played a crucial role in the EPESEP EU-Project since 2024. She managed the activity of the English Writing Group during its foundation year and also developed the EPESEP EU-Project website (www.igfem.eu), which she now runs.

As part of her design practice in India, she has led projects in climate action, visual arts, and prosocial gaming as an intervention to gender-based violence.

Mehak’s writing has been published by Springer, Muse India, Animators Guild of India, ≠igfem; and presented at IIT Bombay, Agatsu Foundation, Kommune Austria, Poetry Society of Vienna, and now, at the EU-Symposium and Literature Festival ‘Störfeuer’ in Vienna.
