Oct 1–3, 2026: EPESEP Symposium in Vienna

We warmly invite you to three days of literature, exchange, and feminist perspectives. Authors from EU member states and international partner countries will gather in Vienna to share texts, make experiences visible, and discuss the conditions of literary work.

The symposium is open to anyone interested in literature, equality, and transnational collaboration.

  • Presentation of research results & discussion and presentation of the Action Plan

  • FemLit – Feminist Reading List: presentation & panel

Followed by:

  • Text Choir – collective performance

The symposium concludes with a performative condensation of texts created within the project.

The ≠igfem Co-Writing project brings together authors from different disciplines and writing traditions to develop new literary forms collaboratively.

At its core is collective writing as a feminist practice—creating space for exchange, mutual inspiration, and solidarity among authors.

Thursday Writing Lab – Focus on Ingeborg Bachmann

Online | weekly, 4–6 PM

In 2026, our Thursday Writing Lab is dedicated to the work of
Ingeborg Bachmann, one of the most important authors in 20th-century German-language literature.

Her work explores language and power, female subjectivity, war, violence, memory, desire, and resistance.

A summer reading will take place in Carinthia.
